Need work on my selfie game but capturing an amazing night honoring Billy Crystal @ the Bring Change to Mind event in SF last night. It was just amazing to hear everyone's stories about mental health. Here's hoping there is more light on this issue. One huge highlight, we got to hear Idina Menzel sing and even perform "let it go!" #bctm #mentalhealth#mentalhealthawareness#billycrystal #idinamenzel #bimbos #amazingnight #inspiring #themckenziefoundation
Feelin my lewk at last night’s @bringchangetomind shindig hosted by Glenn Close (!) to benefit her nonprofit’s mission to end the stigma surrounding mental illness. Billy Crystal (who Googled the 😩 Cubs score for me) was presented with the first Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award and Idina Menzel basically invited everyone on stage to sing “Let it Go” (it’s “annoying” when people tell you to “let it go,” she admitted). Anyway, this is a long way of saying that my anxiety diagnosis four years ago changed my life for the better and I no longer feel perpetually on edge (barring, you know, Trump’s tweets about North Korea). And I finally feel OK admitting that. If you’d like to learn more about Bring Change to Mind, click Link in Bio, as they say ❤️❤️❤️ (📷: @drewaltizerphotography)
So I officially I have the best internship on this planet. Unbelievably grateful that I was able to not only see this wonderful woman, but be a part of such a wonderful night for an absolutely incredible cause to end the stigma surrounding mental health. I got to fly to San Fransisco to do all of this... lucky lucky lucky luckyyyyyy
What a dream come true, to meet such a beautiful and talented woman. She is an icon and inspiration to me, learning about her work with #bringchangetomind foundation was an eye opening experience. Thank you #saksfifthavenue #sf for inviting me and #bimbossf for hosting this special evening.
