Does anyone remember Mr Microphone? One of the cheesiest commercials I've ever seen! In any case this is pretty much what the guy said to the girl that was in the car. Hilarious commercial inadvertently!
Trying to use all the veggies before they go bad. Steamed kale is from the garden with homemade tahini-cucumber dressing & baked garlic acorn squash. Over mixed brown/black rice with beans. Too many food posts ??? 🤷🏻♀️ #seasonalveggies#veganfoodshare#whatveganseat #vegano #plantbased (no cinnamon in these bowls. I’ve been going a little cinnamon crazy. I gotta tone it down)
It's #dysautonomiaawareness month so here's another blank slate post. The past little bit here I've been dealing with an MPFL reconstruction that never really healed properly. Part of that is due to this being a very new and very intricate surgery, and of course part of it is due to me being a whole other level of patient. Which is why I'm posting so late at night - I don't sleep well anymore. I've been looking, almost desperately, at other posts by fellow EDS and POTS patients and we all have such similar stories. Repeated surgeries. Invisible illnesses. Symptoms that switch on a dime. I stopped writing when I had a reconstructive surgery on my dominant arm's shoulder. (Try typing with your arm strapped to your chest straining to see the screen, I promise it's annoying.) I'm sorry I did. It's vitally important we share our stories of fighting for diagnoses and recoveries-especially in today's political climate. I won't stop again. I won't stop writing, I won't stop talking, or raising awareness in every way I can find. This is too important. EDS is not benign, it's aggressive and demands treatment that's appropriate. The first step is raising awareness and arming yourself with the latest research. The second step is finding ways to bring this (or these, as these illnesses travel in packs) illness to work on YOUR terms. It's your life. Dreams are meant to be chased. Your illness doesn't define you, so please never give up. You are worth every second of the fight. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #pots #dysautonomia#chronicillnessawareness#butyoudontlooksick #fuckthat #keepfighting #gumby #daybydaystepbystepbreathbybreath
