👊🏻DEALING WITH HUNGER ON A DIET👊🏻 How do you lose fat? You must create a caloric deficit, period. That means eating less calories than you expend in a day which can be challenging both physically and mentally. You are likely going to be hungry - that's normal - but I want you to understand that there is a difference between tolerable hunger and starving, extreme hunger. . Tolerable hunger is just that, hunger that you feel, but doesn't consume you. It's important to learn to deal with and accept some hunger while you are cutting. It’s part of your body burning fat. Extreme hunger is not a good sign and it usually causes slower progress simply because you can only white-knuckle your diet. Extreme hunger causes most people to eventually spiral out of control with their eating. . It's because of this that paying attention to, and trying to minimize hunger during a cut is really important. Here are some tips for keeping hunger at bay: . 1️⃣ Make sure your fiber intake is at least 25g per day and even better, upwards of 35g. 2️⃣ Increase your water intake - however much you are drinking now - increase it. 3️⃣ Focus on high volume foods. This may mean getting rid of a protein bar or protein drink for example as these aren’t usually very satiating - focus on consuming foods that are very voluminous and filling (read: lots of vegetables). 4️⃣ Make sure you have a good pre- and post-workout meal. I find that if I don't fuel my body properly around a workout it really makes me a lot more hungry through the day, almost as if my body feels like it can't catch up. 5️⃣ Try out protein fluff. You can find the recipe under #babproteinfluff
and if you are often hungry (especially at night) haven't tried this out YOU MUST! It's a huge volume of food for very very low macros, and it's awesome for giving you that feeling of fullness that some people miss as they are cutting. .
