Just wanted to mention something that I observed yesterday while not on my usual routine. For breakfast I noticed the watermelon 🍉 didn't fill me up so I went back for more. When I first started this journey 3 months ago, I was eating a 1/4 watermelon for breakfast so that made sense. Then back at the hotel I ate a banana 🍌I was like why am I still hungry?? Then I was eager to eat lunch soon after, so it was weird?? But then it dawned on me. Ohhhh!! 😱Every morning for the past 2 months, I've been drinking an oversized smoothie for my breakfast. 4 bananas, 2 cups of frozen mangos, 1 cup of frozen mixed berries or frozen raspberries w/4 oz of coconut 🌴 water 💦 and 4 oz of filtered water. That always holds me over for a few hours. Even now with intermittent fasting, I'm only drinking two of these smoothies a day and I'm usually filled up. (Just doing the two meal thing while I'm on this smoothie kick) But yesterday just eating the whole food, I was mighty hangry for more. Hubby and I were talking about it and he was thinking it's bc I knew I was cheating so it probably gave me a little high. I could of very well went without that second Chipotle meal but the thought of salt in my guacamole was super exciting to me. 😂 Side note 📝 when I say "cheat" I mean a raw vegan cheat which really isn't a cheat but to me vegetables are a cheat. Now that I've eaten Chipotle 3x's in 2 days, I'm looking forward to that next cheat. 😂 I'm going to keep doing the smoothie thang and digging deep for awhile. I was getting tired of smoothies there a few days ago bc I was running out of ingredients (started using blueberries instead of the mixed and no coconut water) YUCK 🤢and they didn't taste as fantastic as the above mentioned one that I've been living off of. Raspberries are truly my fav berries over the mixed berries but I've been being cheap and buying a bag of mixed berries from Sams instead. Not organic btw which isn't something I'm known to do bc we eat the full fruit but when Walmart runs out of my organic raspberries, you gotta do what you gotta do. So I've just been using them a lot lately bc I'm used to it. I even noticed the cheapy blender makes them yummy.
I made a batch of these amazing Seed Crackers today! I have these for breakfast sometimes (toasted) with cream cheese and tomatoes and some ham sometimes! Perfect for lunch too.
