So having taken an unplanned day reprise from IG, with travel and some food poisoning, I'm jumping in on #gracefullystrongyogis2 with my favourite pose #hanumanasana. This weekend reminded me how the smallest thing (like bacteria) can cause the most pain and suffering. I can't remember feeling so 😷 🙈. It puts into perspective the importance of health and looking after your body! So today I'm taking it easy and twisting out to get myself up and running again. Best ideas 💡: they come to me unbidden on the mat every day; it’s guaranteed ... not because I am thinking so much when practicing, rather because I am breathing, suspending the tasks and the problems and the agenda of the day midair to create much necessary SPACE, to forget who I am and what I do for a couple of hours so I can breathe and be and listen to the silence. It speaks. ☺️😊♥️🙏🏻 #hanumanasana going deeper into the splits. Lifting the head and pushing my hands down comfortably may not seem much but it’s HUGE!!!

Day 8 of #gracefullystrongyogis2 is #hamstringstretch and had to jump in on the #yogisinthetreez challenge because it has all my favorite ladies and I know they love a good tree!! 🌱🌱
I can remember a day when #hanumanasana seemed so impossible, yet I made a goal to practice gettig there anyway. It may seem like the pose is the prize, but the real reward is in the process of subtle transformations that occur along the way. If you set a goal, be patient and embrace the progress, because in practice, every breath to get there is just as important.
