When designing your dream life, the first thing you need is the clarity on what you want. Then you build a team around you that see’s the vision and helps make that dream a reality. This dream was 25 years in the making...and now, it’s happening. Cheers to the next phase of our life together baby!!!! #phase2infulleffect#wearedoingit
”Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.” (Ritu Ghatourey) 🙏🏽 Giving thanks to each person who shares a piece of their heart with me in so many different ways. • [ 📷: latergram from Vancouver 11.2009]
Thanks-giving day in Canada. And I do strongly believe that being grateful is something you need to do on a daily basis. Not only in those little notebooks by writing down simple things you are grateful for. But also and mostly by saying it out loud, sharing it and really be true about it. I am not saying to stop keeping a journal of good things, but do not be silent about what and whom you are grateful for. You will gain a lot from being loud. #mondayquote#thanksgiving #gratitude
The smell of rain before it hits the earth. The bitter sweetness of dark chocolate and all it's implied contradictions. The open road. The braid of purpose and pleasure and pain. The feeling of home that's found in the unknown. The current of skin on skin. These might be a few of my favourite things. Happy Sunday Soulshines, let's make it a good one. xx
"The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper." - W.B.Yeats - Practising much needed self care today along with a dose of gratitude. I'm finding that when things are tough and I'm feeling really really rubbish and it just feels like hope is slipping through your fingers, being grateful for the simple things in nature takes you the smallest step in the right direction. Appreciating the shift of the seasons, the continually changing weather, the birds nesting, the wildlife growing. It plants hope in me again. That we cannot stop change, it happens anyway. And with time the weather will change again and so will I.
